Advanced Manufacturing

The manufacturing sector is in the midst of a major paradigm shift. The development of advanced tools in automation, robotics, and in situ measurement technologies has completely revolutionized the types of devices that can be created through additive manufacturing. Scientists and engineers at USC are at the forefront of this field with active projects on additive manufacturing of ceramics and composites, automated characterization, and printing of biomaterials.
