Facilities

Center for NanoImaging (CNI)

Provides support for the imaging, visualization, and analysis of nano- through meso-scale features and structures, including biological structures.

Center for NanoBioPhyiscs

Supports studies that examine biomolecule and drug interactions, thermodynamics and kinetics, and understanding the nanoscale molecular assembly and disassembly.

Center for Nanofabrication

This facility contains lithography, characterization (surface, optical, electrical), imaging, and device integration resources. It also contains multiple growth and deposition systems.

Agilent Center for Biomolecular Characterization

Offers advanced tools for bio-sensing and detection, proteomics/metabolomic analysis, and protein engineering. This includes high-throughput chemistry, genomics, optical spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.

Center for Molecular Characterization

Supports several NMR spectrometers, a single crystal diffractometer, and instruments for elemental analysis (CHNS and ICP-OES). A glassblower and electronics shop is also supported.

M. C. Gill Composites Center

Provides a range of expertise that includes postdoctoral associates and research professors with specialized skills in mechanics, polymer science, and manufacturing technology.
